Andy has a business degree from Monash University’s David Syme Business School with a major in Marketing. He went on to complete the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) in 2002.
During the early 2000s, Andy worked as a Business Development Consultant in the financial services industry and then in early 2008, Andy joined the ANZ’s Business Bank Financial Planning team (Victoria/Tasmania) providing financial planning services to ANZ business customers with loans of up to $15M. After two years at ANZ, Andy joined the team at Michael Roach Financial Services, where he provided Business Succession and personal risk protection advice to business owners, executives and families, before establishing Time Advice with Anuj Shangle in February 2011.
Andy is a former Director of the Hawthorn Football Club, where he played 89 games and was a 1991 premiership player. Andy also played for the Brisbane Lions, and is a sought-after public speaker on succession planning. Andy has a particular interest in the application of elite-sport learnings and leadership to business and entrepreneurship.

Anuj was born in New Delhi and moved from a coveted job with the Indian government to see the world and add to his Commerce Degree (Honors) by completing an MBA at Perth's Edith Cowan University.
Anuj began his financlal services career working for AMP as a para-planner. In 2002, Anuj moved to FuturePlus and continued along the para-planning path before becoming an award-winning financial planner.
Along the journey, Anuj achieved accolades at AMP for exceptional contribution to the para-planning team and was also awarded the “FuturePlus Wealth Creation Financial Planner of the Year” in just his second year of planning.
In early 2008, Anuj moved to Melbourne, joining the Business Bank Financial Planning team (Victoria/Tasmania) at ANZ before forming Time Advice with Andy Gowers in early 2011.
Along with his Commerce Degree and MBA, Anuj also is a Certified Financial Planner® and a Self Managed Super Fund Specialist Advisor™.
Paul has enjoyed a successful career as a CEO both in Australia and internationally in a broad range of companies including Breville, Mattel, GE and Black & Decker.
For the past 7 years, Paul has focused mainly on the SME market and is also Chairman of:
- Comcater - Australia's largest commercial kitchen company
- Brands WA - owner of 40 Quick Service Restaurants in WA and Tasmania
- 1300 Temp Fence - the second-largest company in the fencing and toilet hire industry in Australia/NZ
- AES - environmental engineering services
In addition to his board commitments, Paul works in an ongoing capacity with a number of private family companies, advising and assisting them with acquisitions, restructuring, capital raising and succession planning.
We are delighted Paul has joined Time Advice as Chairman to help us build our business and broaden our service offering.
Peter has an extensive history in developing and implementing highly strategic industry programs in his 35+ years’ career, initially with the Federal Government and over the last 25 years with a vast variety of industry sectors.
In addition, he has a proven expertise in helping a diverse range of small to medium sized businesses implementing strategic new growth strategies and has been responsible for initiating and facilitating a series of collaborative research projects between key supply chain partners and relevant research organisations.
Peter has overseen his own highly successful consulting business since 1998 helping more than 300 firms in their dealings with Government. In addition, he has taken on numerous industry representative roles in his time, including (to name a few):
- Board Member, Tyre Stewardship Australia (2013 to present)
- Member of Industry Advisory Board, RMIT University’s School of Fashion & Textiles (2008 to present)
- Chairman, Australian Textiles Technologies & Innovation Centre (2010 to present)
- Chairman, Tyre Stewardship Australia Research Advisory Committee (2015 to present)
- Chairman, RMIT Centre for Advanced Materials and Performance Textiles Advisory Committee (2014 to present)

Peter is highly respected for his analytical approach, ability to negotiate successful and mutually beneficial outcomes, and the many high level relationships and networks he has engendered over his career to date.
Currently Peter heads the Time Advice Innovation division and assists clients with government funding programmes and especially helping them maximise the strategic benefits they could get from the available Government assistance schemes.
Ross has extensive experience in working in the intersection between business and government.
In the 1990's after a time in the Department of Employment, Ross moved to the Australian Bureau of Statistics where he worked on calculating Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for service industries and the implementation of new international accounting standards in Australian economic statistical collections.
At the end of the '90s Ross moved to the industry portfolio and joined Invest Australia (later merged into Austrade) working to attract and facilitate foreign direct investment into Australia specialising in ICT and Biotechnology from Japan, China and South East Asia. Ross developed new systems and protocols to connect Invest Australia into the global Austrade network.
In 2005 Ross and his family moved to Melbourne and he joined AusIndustry becoming a Deputy State Manager and a Program Manager. In these role Ross directed a large number of the Australian Government's grant programs (both Nationally and for Victoria) in areas such as R&D tax, Manufacturing support, small business, data retention and cyber security.
Ross was extensively involved with the design, management and delivery of these programs and as such has a deep understanding of the policy drivers behind programs. He also has an intimate knowledge about the way government grants are awarded and the aims and approach of compliance activities.
Vasudha has a Masters degree in Computer Management. She moved from New Delhi, India in 2001 to Germany to accept a position with Citibank in their IT Division. She worked as a computer programmer and her team developed and maintained Citibank’s in-house banking software used by their global branches.
Performing software testing and resolving customers’ technical issues within tight deadlines was Vasudha’s daily routine.
After four years in Germany, she moved with her young family to Melbourne, Australia in 2005.
In early 2011 Vasudha joined Time advice as Client Services Manager to assist our clients with the implementation of their financial advice and taking care of their ongoing needs and queries.
Since March 2014 as the Practice Manager, her main focus has been ensuring Time Advice has the most effective systems and processes in place and can deliver its services efficiently to its clients.
Currently as Business Manager, Vasudha ensures the smooth running of all the processes for our different businesses under Time Advice umbrella and successfully manages in providing high standard of service for our customers at all times.

Brett was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia where he attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce at Curtin University – majoring in Finance and Economics and graduating in 2016. He worked part-time throughout his degree in a large Financial Planning firm as a client liason officer and moved into a full-time role after completing his degree. He started his Diploma of Financial Planning in 2017 to expand on his studies.
In 2018 Brett decided to move to Melbourne in order to progress his career and develop within a new environment. He joined the Time Advice team in March 2018 where he assists clients with their ongoing needs, queries and concerns in order to ensure we provide exceptional customer service.
Brett is a client-focused person who believes strongly in building rapport with clients. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of superannuation, investments and insurance and believes that good financial planning at any age can help set up a far more comfortable retirement in future years.
Annie recently joined Time Advice and is primarily responsible for customer service and supporting the Directors with their busy schedules.
She has been in the real estate industry and brings with her exceptional customer service skills as well as a positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
Her friendliness, enthusiasm and dedication to clients is second to none, ensuring that they receive the best possible service she can provide. She takes a great deal of pride in everything that she puts her hand to and is always up for a challenge and believes that she will continue to learn and grow each day.
When not working, Annie enjoys quality time with her young family. She feels that juggling a career and motherhood with 100% dedication requires her to be highly organised and constantly on top of her game, which she is committed to, whilst having fun along the way.
Poonam has Bachelor’s degree in Science with majors in Physics from University of Delhi and a diploma in computer science. She started her career in IT and very quickly moved into management position within her organisation. She worked as a Systems Manager and was responsible for development and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for her customers.
She moved to Australia in year 2000 along with her husband.
She Joined Time Advice in early 2015 as a paraplanner.
